The Friends of Ernie Pyle conducted its inaugural Trivia Night in February on behalf of the Ernie Pyle World War II Museum.
The event took place at the Carter’s Nest Bar in Dana and was well attended and a great success. A fun time was had by everyone.
Best of all, the event raised $2,202.50 for the Ernie Pyle and Veterans Memorial Park currently under construction.
A total of nine teams participated (52 total competitors ranging in age from mid-20s to “seasoned and experienced”) in the trivia competition hosted by Chris Wood.
The big winner was the OutKast team made up of Doug and Kiley Drake, Marilyn Davies, Ross Holbert, Billy Richardson and Jerry Richardson.
