Visitors to the Museum

The museum is open seasonally from May through Veteran’s Day, Nov. 11. Groups of school children come in for educational field trips. The Ernie Pyle Scholars, journalism students from Pyle’s alma mater Indiana University, visit to learn about the renowned reporter. Veterans, dignitaries and people from across the country are welcomed each year to learn about Pyle, his storytelling and the soldiers he wrote about.
