The museum
The Ernie Pyle World War II Museum features exhibits highlighting the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist’s life and the war and soldiers he covered as a correspondent. The museum includes the farm house where Pyle was born and Quonset huts showcasing memorabilia, films and educational material related to WWII military history, veterans, soldiers, journalism and the daily life of “The Greatest Generation.”

Special tours can be arranged any time of year by contacting the Friends of Ernie Pyle at 765-665-3633 or emailing director@erniepyle.org.
The museum is closed for the 2024 season. It will be re-open to the public May 3, 2025 through Nov. 11, 2025.
During the regualr season, hours are:
10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday
Noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday
All times are Eastern Standard Time.
Admission
Admission is free. Donations may be made in the gift shop.
